Katie Banks-Todd is a native of El Dorado, Kansas.  She has a Bachelor's of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Wichita State University.  Katie has performed with the National Tour and Broadway Companies of The Phantom of the Opera. She was the understudy for the role of Carlotta.  Katie also appeared in Jerry Springer: The Opera at Carnegie Hall.  Local audiences have seen her at MTWichita as Mrs. Potts (Beauty and the Beast) , Mrs. Brill (Mary Poppins), Smitty (How to Succeed in Business...) and Portia (Cinderella).

Recently, Katie opened her vocal studio, KBT Studio of the Performing Arts. She teaches adjunct at Wichita State University.  Katie and her husband Patrick have 2 children.  Isabelle and Benjamin.
